Warranty rules

Policy & Terms

The Island Slumber Family proudly stands by every product we distribute.Island Slumber warrants all products to be of the highest quality in material, craftsmanship and service for minimum of 1 year, effective from the date of purchase. Warranty lengths may vary between product categories. We offer a limited lifetime warranty for the suggested life of a product. For specific warranty terms, please refer to warranty details below.

Under the limited lifetime warranty, Island Slumber will replace or refund any products found to be defective due to manufacturer flaws. This warranty extends only to personal use and does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or any other use in which the product is not intended for. There are no warranties other than that expressly set forth with each product. This warranty is non-transferrable. Island Slumber is not responsible in any way for any pain or inconveniences caused by product failure or by user negligence or abuse. If your product irritates your skin or causes any discomfort discontinue use immediately.

Furthermore, Island Slumber is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature resulting from the use of this product and any liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

This warranty does not apply to the following:

• Fading or discoloration due to exposure to sunlight or chemicals such as ammonia,   fabric softener or household bleach.
• Improper or inadequate maintenance.
• Damage in return transit.
• Wear and tear due to animals
• Wear and tear due to  finger/toe nails, rough or calloused skin.

Island Slumber and its subsidiaries assume no liability for damage caused by the use of the product other than for its intended use. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential losses so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

What if my product is defective?

Should your product prove defective within the warranty period, simply contact us for return or exchange instructions. warranty@islandslumber.com

If you are instructed to return the defective product please include the following:

• Reason for return
• Instructions for a refund or exchange with return address

Please package the product carefully to avoid damage during transit and address the enclosed contents.

Extended Limited Lifetime Warranty for products:

Sleep Masks: 1 Year

Pillow: 5 Years

Bed Sheets: 5 Years

Comforters: 5 Years

Duvet Covers: 5 Years

 

According to the Sleep Council pillows need to be replaced every 2-3 years.

Bed Sheets, Comforters, and Duvet Covers need to be replaced every 4-5 Years.
